Cloister Records specialises in recording smaller ensembles, such as vocal ensembles, chamber chiors, string ensembles, soloists, and organists, with a particular emphasis on church and early music.
We aim to gain the best possible sound out of recording environment, whether Church, Cathedral, Concert hall or school hall, making use of the natural resonance of the building rather than using artificial reverberation techniques.
We cater for Cathedral choirs, University ensembles, new or developing ensembles and school/college groups. All recording and editing is done digitally for the cleanest sound possible.
